This site only uses technical cookies
The Security Portal uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for the service to work. In concrete terms:
- Anonymous visitors (public pages: home, catalogue, articles, digest archive): no cookie is set.
- Authenticated users: the authentication provider (Supabase) sets the technical session cookies needed to keep you securely signed in. They are created only after login and removed/invalidated on sign-out.
- Staff-only editorial area: uses a similar technical session cookie of the content management system, set only after editorial login. It does not concern visitors or Portal users.
The site does not use: profiling or advertising cookies, analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), tracking pixels, social plugins, or third-party fonts/resources that involve tracking. The interface language (IT/EN) is determined by the URL path, not by a cookie.
Why there is no banner
Consent is not required for strictly necessary technical cookies (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Guidelines of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali of 10 June 2021). This is why the Portal shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to or refuse.
Should tools subject to consent be introduced in the future, this page will be updated and a compliant banner will be adopted before their activation.
For the list of personal data processing activities and your rights, see the Portal’s privacy notice.
